ABOUT THE TEAMĀ
The Anduril Imaging team developsĀ state-of-the-artĀ imaging systems across both hardware and software, deployed to tackle the most significant security challenges of America and its allies.Ā Ā The team is heavily involved inĀ utilizingĀ computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data to give our war fighters and allies an advantage.Ā Ā Ā
ABOUT THE JOBĀ
The Imaging team is seeking a Firmware Engineer to help design a new productĀ lines. In this role, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary technical team to define, complete the design and analysis, build prototypes leading to ground and flight testing, and mature the prototypes into products.Ā
WHAT YOUāLL DO
- Design firmware for embedded hardware, from concept to functional prototype, board bring-up, and system level integration
- Write C/C++Ā for ARM processers in modern FPGAs, SoCs, and SoMs
- Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and basic software debugging tools
- Work closely with hardware and software engineers for component selection, troubleshooting, and product support
- Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products
- Develop firmware across multiple products at various stages of their development cycle
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelorās Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience developing firmware for for embedded processors using C/C++
- Experience with configuration control system like (eg Git , Github etc..)
- Experience with testing, supporting, and troubleshooting complex hardware, embedded systems, and products
- Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, and automation of tests
- Eligible to obtain andĀ maintainĀ an active U.S. Secret security clearanceĀ
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSĀ
- 5+ years of experience FPGA devices
- Demonstrated experience designing for common communication busses like SPI, I2C, CAN
- Embedded software development experience with the use of timers and interrupts
- Experience with developing HDL firmware for Xilinx FPGA devices and embedded real-time systems with C/C++
- Experience with component selection, schematic capture, high speed board design, and PCB layout
- Knowledge of embedded Linux development, including device trees, hardware drivers, bootloaders, and basic Unix/Linux tools
- Familiar with common programming languages like Python and MATLAB
- Familiarity with infrared image sensor technology
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
