Division Operations Analyst, Counter Intrusion
Job Description
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
We are building the future of situational awareness. Our Sentry platform integrates robotics, autonomy, hardware, and software to deliver mission-critical capabilities in defense and security, with an expanding footprint into commercial markets. With a rapidly growing fleet and new product variants in development, we partner across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, business development, and more to deliver cutting-edge systems at scale.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Division Operations Analyst to help build and scale the operational backbone of the Counter Intrusion business line. In this role, you will partner with division leadership to drive financial visibility, workforce planning, facilities management, growth operations, and executive reporting. You will be one of the first dedicated operations hires for Counter Intrusion — responsible for standing up scalable processes and systems that enable the business line to operate at peak performance as it grows.
This is a broad role by design. You'll move between financial dashboards, headcount models, facility layouts, and executive communications — sometimes in the same day. You'll work across Anduril's core functions (Finance, Talent Acquisition, Business Operations, Analytics) and interface with division-level leadership to ensure Counter Intrusion has the infrastructure it needs to hit aggressive growth targets.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Financial Operations & Reporting: Build and maintain financial dashboards, cost visibility tooling, and P&L reporting for Counter Intrusion leadership and c-suite stakeholders. Support quarterly business reviews and corporate planning cycles by monitoring performance against financial plans and growth targets.
- Workforce Planning: Own the staffing infrastructure for Counter Intrusion — managing headcount planning, recruiting coordination with Talent Acquisition, demand/supply forecasting, and charge code governance. Build tooling and processes that enable efficient resource allocation as the organization scales.
- Facilities Operations: Manage Counter Intrusion's physical footprint in Irvine, including neighborhood management, space planning, and seating coordination for organizational growth across C-Int Engineering, service organizations, and Sentry Production.
- Growth Operations: Partner with Business Development on capture and pipeline operations, opportunity labor forecasting, and proposal support. Help translate growth in the sales pipeline into actionable staffing and infrastructure plans.
- Executive Communication: Own and produce weekly c-suite updates, monthly operations meeting content, and cross-divisional reporting. Ensure Counter Intrusion leadership has the information they need to make informed decisions.
- Special Projects: Own operational projects end-to-end — from definition, to solutioning, to implementation. You will be handed ambiguous problems with little prescription on how to solve them. If this does not excite you, this is not the role for you.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- You have 1+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, internal strategy & operations, or a business analyst role. Experience operating in a high-growth technology company, or starting a venture, are heavily considered.
- You get energy from being a thought partner for others — it excites you to spend time translating operational problems into data problems, and to then going and executing on them.
- You're both high ownership and low ego, approaching everything with strong outcome orientation and high humility.
- You are self-driven and relentlessly proactive. You don't need someone to tell you to "move". You just move. We'd rather have to tell you to slow down than to speed up.
- You enjoy working at a place where no one minds if you leave early one day to go to an appointment or run an errand, but you also don't mind responding to Slacks in the evening while you're watching Netflix.
- You are comfortable communicating broadly and having a lot of eyes on your work. This role can at-times require comms to large groups and senior leadership. This should excite you!
- You have an appetite to build clear frameworks to structure problems.
- Aptitude for rapid learning and assimilating new information to swiftly become proficient in unfamiliar subject areas and technologies.
- You have strong analytical aptitude. You intuitively think about problems in terms of numbers and data-models, and you are able to quickly execute analyses in Excel or SQL.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
