Airbnb's Reputation team operates across all of Airbnb’s stakeholder network, including governments at various levels, parliamentarians and policymakers, regulators and law enforcement agencies, public entities, industry associations, research institutions and academia, host and guest communities, as well as the broader public.

The global Reputation team helps positively shape the conversation through targeted initiatives and content on Airbnb’s role in broader society.
We build and design curated multi-channel campaigns through organic and paid channels to win over our external stakeholders, experiment with new ways to tell the Airbnb story more effectively and creatively, and partner and facilitate closely with internal teams, especially with Marketing, Public Policy, Communications and Product, to execute on and achieve a shared vision.
The Difference You Will Make:
We are seeking a self-starting, organised and creative campaign strategist to support our reputational goals globally, with a focus on enabling, operationalising and sharpening local campaigns with a scaled approach.
This person would take on a key role in supporting the Director, Tourism & Events in identifying and implementing locally tools and tactics that would take our engagement to the next level, and support the global Reputation team in rolling out market-based amplification campaigns where required.
A Typical Day:
- Work closely with the Director, Tourism & Events to ideate, conceptualise, roll out and project manage regional policy media and storytelling campaigns and assets across key policy narrative themes, including but not limited to economic impact, responsible and sustainable tourism
- Identify and roll out ways to elevate amplification campaigns for general population and political stakeholders through branded assets across the spectrum of scaled channels, online and offline experiential elements and engagement materials, including but not limited to political events, emails, digital data visualisation, physical assets and leave-behinds
- Work closely with regional and country Reputation leads in building a world-class global campaign program, including innovating on, refining and elevating proactive and responsive campaigning tactics, channels and targeting, stakeholder mapping
- Support development of internal communications, playbooks and documentation in partnership with global Amplification Lead and regional leads, including synthesising data, polling and research, campaign performance and progress reports
- Champion and be responsible for team operational excellence, including reporting, KPI tracking, budget tracking and management, documentation and organisation of files and folders, procurement and vendor management needs and tasks
Your Expertise:
- 6+ years experience in end-to-end marketing and/or public relations, amplifying campaigns through a variety of online and offline channels
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field
- Exceptional project and program management skills, with the ability to quickly build, scale and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable campaign strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, another language a plus
- Has experience in vendor management, project management across business functions and geographies
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills and a track record of successfully working across cross-functional teams
- Keen interest and understanding of general political and social dynamics and issues, an in-depth understanding of regulatory, legislative processes and political landscapes
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills
- Passionate about the positive impact of travel and tourism and willing to travel (10-20%)
